OPTICAL ILLUSION WALLPAPER
AWallpaper installation? That’s a first for me. But here it is, this Carnovsky creation, RGB, is from the Milan based artists, Francesco Rugi and Silvia.
Trippy, right? But beneath the surface is so much more. Seems they’ve overlapped three different images, each one in a primary color. Now the lines and shapes become entwined - then once different colored filters are applied used so you can clearly see the layers of each image - each providing it’s very own mural. I love the ‘more than meets the eye’ aspect of it.
They even have a series of lithographic prints. Who wouldn’t want to take those home and try them out?
