EVOL’s RURAL CITY

German artist, EVOL is so genius when it comes to his visual illusions - this is part of hisBuilding Series, it was part of an install at the MS Dockville Music Festival in Hamburg, Germany.

Part of the charm/awe is that his installs are built into & around existing landscapes. He’s outdone himself this time by cutting into the landscape and then buttressed the walls with particle-board sheets - I mean check out how he transformed these walls into a miniature city with his detailed stenciling - and you could navigate the city on foot…you just never know what he’s going to do next.
