The Monday Morning Comparison: Anna di Prospero & Andrew Wyeth

Over my morning coffee and Monday morning Flikr run thru - I stumbled onto to this great photograph entitled “Latina” and my mind immediately strayed to ‘Wyeth’. 

What I see as a mirror image nod to Andrew Wyeth’s painting “Christina’s World” is the work of photographer Anna di Prospero. And while my assessment of it being an urban rendition might not be on par with her thoughts, it’s been fun making comparisons in its likeness of Wyeth’s platte of rural landscaping and the enchantment found in the use of light and shadow.
